OUR GRADUATES AVERAGE 90.7% ACCORDING TO ABA TWO-YEAR BAR PASS DATA
Western New England University School of Law graduates passed the bar exam at a rate nearly two-and-a-half points higher than the national average according to data released by the American Bar Association.
“I am thrilled at the bar success demonstrated by our students as they enter the legal profession at such an important time,” said Professor of Legal Skills Justin Dion, who oversees the School of Law’s Bar Prep program. “Our students are exceptionally prepared to represent clients, and it is wonderful they are able to get to work to help make a positive impact in their communities.”
The ABA found that 90.7% of Western New England University School of Law 2015 graduates passed the bar within two-years (called the ultimate pass rate), compared to an average of 88.25% of all exam takers from ABA-accredited law schools.
The ABA data puts Western New England University in the top 45 percent of law schools nationwide. More than 39,600 students graduated from ABA-accredited law schools in 2015, with 37,515 taking the bar exam. The ABA data covers all but 1,000 graduates, for whom no information was available.
