Chris Olsen ’90, Senior Executive with Houston Texans, to Speak at Western New England University

The Center for International Sport Business in the College of Business, will host Chris Olsen ’90, Vice President of Football Administration for the Houston Texans, on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Wood Auditorium, Sleith Hall.

The Center for International Sport Business in the College of Business, will host Chris Olsen ’90, Vice President of Football Administration for the Houston Texans on Wednesday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Wood Auditorium, Sleith Hall.

Olsen is responsible for negotiating player contracts and managing the team’s salary cap. Prior to joining the Texans’ front office staff, Olsen worked for the NFL League Office in New York City where he managed labor relations, including the league’s collective bargaining agreement. Before joining the NFL, Olsen worked for the New Jersey State Golf Association.

The New Jersey native earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western New England University and master’s degree in sport management from Springfield College before embarking on his career in professional sports.
