Western New England University School of Law has announced a new Master of Science in Law program. Understanding the law is not only integral to many careers, it is increasingly essential. In today’s world, law impacts virtually every human activity. Professionals in many fields regularly interact with lawyers, the legal system, judicial rulings, policy issues, and regulations. The Master of Science in Law program is designed for non-lawyer professionals who deal with such topics in their work, but who do not desire to obtain a JD or practice law.

The 24-credit Master of Science in Law can be pursued full- or part-time. Full-time students can complete the program in one year and part-time students can develop a flexible plan to complete the requirements in two, three, or more years. Students are not required to take the LSAT or any other graduate entrances tests for admission into the program.

Legal knowledge is key to the success of most organizations and the future of many careers. After taking an introductory course to become acclimated to the process of legal education, students will attend the same classes with students in the Juris Doctor program and be taught by the same law faculty. The curriculum can be customized to any student’s professional interests.
