The Center for International Sport Business (CISB) will host a talk by hockey historian Steve Hardy on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy, Room 400. The event is free and open to the public.

Hardy, hockey historian and former professor at the University of New Hampshire, is co-author of a book entitled “Hockey: A Global History” (University of Illinois Press, 2018). A former hockey player himself at Bowdoin College before embarking on an academic career, Hardy is the 31st speaker in the CISB “For the Love of the Games” program series.

Established in 2007, the CISB is a forum for the study of the business of sport with an international focus. In addition to bringing to campus more than 40 influential personalities from sport and business, the Center organizes a summer Seminar Abroad Program that has led six student trips to three Olympic Games and three FIFA World Cups.
