Engineering Students Take Home Top Prizes at ASME E-Fest

Mechanical Engineering students attended the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Engineering Festival (E-Fest) on March 5 in Windsor Locks, CT, where they proved to be among the best in various oral presentation competitions.

In the Elevator Pitch competition, senior Jack Koubeck won first place, junior Taylor Pedley took second, and junior Wojciech Kochanczyk was awarded third place. Additionally, senior Austen Metsack took third place in the Old Guard Oral Competition.

ASME’s E-Fests are regional events for engineering students that include design competitions, career development workshops, access to thought leaders and innovators in various engineering fields, and networking opportunities.
