Western New England University Students Inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society

The Western New England University chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society welcomed six students at the University's annual induction ceremony on April 11th in the D'Amour Library.

Pi Sigma Alpha is the national honor society in political science. Membership maintains high standards of scholarship and academic distinction in the political sciences, and the society seeks to promote excellence in the study of political science through a variety of programs. The chapter was chartered in 1992, with 167 students and alumni inducted to date. Pi Sigma Alpha members must complete 75 credits and achieve a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

Guest speaker, Sherriff Nick Cocchi of Hamden Country, attended the induction to deliver a promising speech to the inductees. Cocchi is a 1995 graduate of Western New England University.
