Following graduation from Tufts University with a BS in Occupational Therapy, Dr. Rainville worked in community pediatrics, being involved in the development of early childhood intervention programming and legislation. She also earned an MS in Management from Lesley University and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Tufts University.
Dr. Rainville has been recognized for her local and national work in advocacy, program development and evaluation, management and administration, and collaborative research. Her practice and research activities have involved children and families, community and home health, consultation, and education. Her research interests include service learning, interprofessional practice, universal design for learning as well as excellence and equity in higher education.
