What will I find in the Archives?
The Archives holds non-current records produced by Western New England University faculty, administrators, staff, and students. Some of these records include student newspapers, yearbooks, course catalogs, scrapbooks, departmental meeting minutes, marketing brochures, annual reports, planning documents, photographs, slides, and video recordings of campus events. The Archives also houses objects such asÂ trophies, plaques, banners, and other memorabilia. All material relates to the history of Western New England University, and is being stored and cared for in the Archives for this reason.
Who can use the Archives?
The Western New England University Archives are open for research to the University community, as well as to the interested general public on a case by case basis.
Where are the Archives?
The physical collections of the Archives are stored on the third floor of D'Amour Library. The Archivist's office is located on the first floor of the library.
How do I use the Archives?
The Archives are open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon for drop in research and questions. Appointments can also be made in advance outside of open hours by contacting the Archivist.
