In almost all courses, you’ll have the opportunity to gain direct experience with industry standard Analytics software from vendors such as SAS, SAP, Microsoft, and IBM. WNE puts real world tools in the hands of our students. How do tweets from political leaders or company executives affect the stock market? Thanks to a partnership with Polygon.io Inc., a rising fintech startup, WNE students can work with real-time and historical financial market datasets to help answer questions like these. Through this partnership, students have access to all of the stocks traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges. Polygon.io is a financial markets data platform which uses real-time APIs to connect users to data on stocks, crypto, forex, and other important financial markets. Polygon.io's tools enable students to develop and test business analytics models to see how factors from social media to medical breakthroughs can influence markets. A partnership with Finnhub Stock API gives WNE students real-time access to democratized financial data, including institutional grade fundamental data, real-time market data, and alternative data. This provides access to the same tools used by Google, PwC, Tyson, and other industry leaders, including audio and transcripts from over 17,000 earnings calls of publicly traded companies.
