Stay Local, Go Far

Too big? Too far? Or simply ready to complete your bachelor’s? If you’re thinking about changing schools this fall, why not stay closer to home and make the move to WNE?

A Degree that Goes the Distance

Want a degree for the long run? WNE is #5 in the nation and #1 in Massachusetts in Massachusetts in preparing graduates for the job market. What’s more, our graduates earn an average of $6,916 a year more than 80% of the other public and private schools where our applicants typically consider enrolling.

Small Classes, Big Opportunities

Our classes aren’t taught in large lecture halls, but in small personal settings by professors who love to teach. As a university, we offer you a great mix of majors in a friendly and welcoming community with plenty of clubs to join, and, of course, our beautiful, walkable campus.

Missed our April 5 LIVE Virtual Accepted Students' Day?

Watch the replay of this event.

This two-hour virtual event covered:

  • The WNE classroom experience
  • Financing your education
  • Student life from current WNE students
  • Becoming a Golden Bear student-Athlete
  • Housing and dining options (including premium singles, honors, and much more)
  • An amazing student panel that answered questions from our virtual audience
  • Also be sure to check out our Student Video Tours and other Video Presentations in the tabs.

Beyond students who are already accepted, this virtual event provides an insider’s look into WNE for students like you who are now considering us for this fall. The good news is that our rolling admissions policy means you can apply throughout the spring and summer, and receive a decision in as little as two weeks.

Easy Transferring and Great Scholarships

Transferring has never been easier, and we make it affordable. If you applied as a freshman, we’ll offer you either your original Merit Scholarship or the Transfer Merit Scholarship, depending on whichever is higher.

Earning an Associate’s degree? With a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher and an Associate’s, you qualify for the Transfer Distinction Award, a renewable scholarship of $18,000 per year.

Let’s talk about your future at WNE. Get in touch with our transfer admissions counselors at wne.edu/admissions/transfer.
