Current projects include: 1) assessing and teaching joint attention and social referencing in toddlers with ASD. 2) teaching children differential responding to facial expressions as a precursor to perspective taking 3) using video modeling as an instructional tool to increase procedural integrity with parents and staff when providing instruction in joint attention, self-help, play and incidental teaching. 4) measuring clinical outcomes of early intensive behavior intervention 5) evaluating elements of EIBI treatment for 1-year-olds with ASD 6) use of video modeling and video feedback to increase conversational pragmatic skills
