Grady is a lawyer and award-winning journalist who spent more than two decades in daily newspaper journalism – eight as managing editor of The Republican – before earning a law degree in 2010 from Western New England University School of Law. As managing editor of The Republican, she was responsible for the ethical delivery of news for the largest daily newspaper in Western Massachusetts and oversaw investigative and enterprise news reporting. She currently drafts legislation for Connecticut lawmakers as a legislative attorney for the Connecticut General Assembly and also has served as managing editor of the Connecticut Law Tribune. In private practice, Grady has focused on immigration and appellate law.
