Two members of the College of Pharmacy Class of 2015, the first graduating class of the College, recently joined Dean Evan Robinson to dedicate the class gift.

Erica Prouty ’15, pictured on left of Dean Robinson, and Christine Galinski ’15, right, were on hand for their class donation of a Golden Rain Tree, which was planted adjacent to the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy building. The plant, also sometimes called the Pride-of-India or the China tree, is native to East Asia and widely cultivated in temperate regions for its handsome foliage and curious bladder-like seedpods.

“Remember your roots and draw strength from the strongest storms,” reads the plaque in front of the tree. “Learn, grow, dream of tomorrow and the new day’s light. Determination will get you through the night.”
