TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2019 - 1:00 PM All News , Law

The School of Law will host a Diversity Law Day workshop on Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Blake Law Center. The event is designed to address minority and diversity issues related to law school and the application process. Representatives from Western New England University School of Law, Boston University School of Law, New England Law/Boston, and the University of Connecticut School of Law will be on hand to answer questions.

"This is an excellent opportunity for diversity and first-generation students to ask questions related to law school and the application process," said Michael Johnson, associate dean at Western New England University School of Law. "Whether you are just beginning to gather information or you are in the final application stages, admissions professionals will look forward to meeting you and any friends and family who accompany you."

The workshop is free and open to the public; however, advanced registration is required. To register online, visit wne.edu/diversitylaw. For more information, call 413-782-1406 or email admissions@law.wne.edu.
