The Facilities Department has scheduled snow removal for Saturday, February 15, 2025. To assist in this effort, all vehicles in the common parking lots must be moved to an alternate location by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15. Residence lots will remain open for students.
Please exercise caution while walking or driving on campus, as snow and rain may create slippery and icy conditions, making travel more challenging.

Accomodations and Advocacy

Welcome to Student Accessibility Services! Our office is dedicated to the development of a supportive and inclusive campus environment for students. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) serves as a resource for students with diagnosed disabilities providing accommodations and advocacy assistance to support equal access and the full participation of students with disabilities in all University programs, activities, and education.

Registering with SAS as a student with a disability supports campus inclusion. At SAS we believe disability is a form of diversity; a disability diagnosis or condition is neutral, neither positive nor negative. As a Western New England University student with a disability, you can register with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to receive disability-related accommodations. Accommodations are designed to eliminate disability-related barriers in the environment and curriculum so that you have an equal opportunity for access and success. SAS requires that you actively participate in a five-step process: 1) Self-identify, by completing the SAS intake form, 2) Provide supporting documentation, 3) actively participate in a SAS-Welcome Meeting, 4) Advocate for your needs, and 5) Support the development of the appropriate support services and accommodations plan as developed by SAS.
